Description

'Description: The VA's Network Contracting Office 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center is soliciting quotes from contractors currently providing Blood Donor Panel Testing Services to provide said services to the CAPT James A. Lovell, Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) in North Chicago, IL. The James A. Lovell, Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) requires blood donor panel testing services to meet regulations set forth by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), AABB (American Association of Blood Banking), CAP (College of American Pathologists), TJC (The Joint Commission, formally the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and DoD Inst (Department of Defense Instruction). The full range of the requested Blood Testing Services shall include: transportation/courier service, performance of analytical testing, and reporting of analytical test results. Contractor shall provide unit pricing for all tests listed. Total extended pricing for the base year should be reflected in the Schedule of Services section. Blood Testing Service results shall be delivered to the Government within the timeframe specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The source selection process will evaluate the contractor's current facilities, equipment, and personnel or their proposed plan to have all in place prior to beginning the period of performance. Contractors must exhibit their current capabilities to currently meet or exceed the levels of service as described in the statement of work. The solicitation will include estimated quantities. Work will be scheduled on an as needed basis. The duration of the contract is one year. The place of contract performance is North Chicago, IL. The Government intends to solicit the requirement using full and open competition.
