Description
Project work consists of ditch reconditioning. Ditch reconditioning includes removal of slide material, sediment, vegetation, and other debris from the bottom of the existing ditches and culvert inlets and outlets. It also includes flush cutting of vegetation on the fore-slope and back-slope of the existing ditches. Ditch reconditioning will be done at the following locations: Stevens Canyon Road intermittently between MP 5.0 and MP 14.0. SR 123 intermittently between MP 9 and MP 12. The project is located within Pierce and Lewis counties in Washington, approximately 10 miles north of Packwood, WA. You will be quoting on how many linear feet of ditch reconditioning that you can do for the amount of funds available. More specific details on how this will work and exact funding available will be included in the solicitation. THIS PROJECT IS ANTICIPATED TO BE SOLICITED: Summer 2013 ANTICIPATED COMPLETION DATE: fall 2013. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $75,000 and $100,000. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Eligible small business firms; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
