- **24 MAY 2013 -- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO ADVISE THAT RFP FA8532-12-R-00542 IS BEING REVISED IAW FAR PART 15 IN LIEU OF FAR PART 12 AND REISSUED AS RFP FA8532-12-R-00542A. THE ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION DATE IS ON OR AROUND 31 MAY 2013. PROPOSALS WILL BE DUE ON OR AROUND 01 JULY 2013. THE RFP WILL NOT BE POSTED TO THE FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES (FBO) WEB SITE. HOWEVER, IF YOU DESIRE TO RECEIVE A COPY, NOTIFY THE POC LISTED BELOW AND ONE WILL BE PROVIDED. REMINDER -- NO DATA IS AVAILABLE** Item 0001 : NSN 6625-01-498-4616CX, Part Number ANV-126A-001, Night Vision Test Set The ANV-126A-001 is a portable instrument for evaluating the optical performance of most night vision goggles and developed for the testing, alignment, and adjustment of NVGs. ANV-126A-001 has the capability to test and validate the AN/AVS-6, AN/AVS-9, AN/AVS-10, AN/PVS-4, AN/PVS-7, AN/PVS-14, AN/PVS-15, and AN/PVS-18 NVGs which are all currently in the U.S. Air Force's inventory. The overall dimensions for the test set (NSN: 6625014984616CX) is 16.0 inches in length, 16.0 inches in width, 15.0 inches in height and weighs 44lbs. Basic Quantity for Item 0001 is 1-16 each with a Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) of 8. Also included is Option I for a quantity range of 1-16 EA with the BEQ of 12; Option II is for a quantity range of 1-16 EA with the BEQ of 14; Option III is for a quantity range of 1-16 EA with the BEQ of 15; Option IV is for a quantity range of 1-16 EA with the BEQ of 16. Options may be exercised for USAF or FMS. Basic quantity is for USAF requirements and will ship to FB2065. Delivery locations for options will be determined at time option (s) is exercised. Item 0002 : 6625K3317786A, Part Number ANV-126A-UGF, Field Modification Kit is a field upgrade module assembly for the ANV-126 Test Set. The assembly is the main electrical component of the test set. The assembly consists of four parts: A primary test module, a disposable module life and replacement tool, an AC line cord, and a new foam lid accessory insert. The ANV-126A-UGF provides the capability to perform specific tests on the ground and aviator night vision goggles such as system gain, resolution, battery voltage, zero diopter and spot defects. The overall dimensions for this item is 14.8750 inches in length, 15.3750 inches in width, 6.7500 inches in height and 27lbs. Basic Quantity for Item 0002 is 1-20 each with a Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) of 15. Also included is Option I for a quantity range of 1-16 EA with the BEQ of 12; Option II is for a quantity range of 1-16 EA with the BEQ of 14; Option III is for a quantity range of 1-16 EA with the BEQ of 15; Option IV is for a quantity range of 1-16 EA with the BEQ of 16. Options may be exercised for USAF or FMS. Delivery is required at a rate of 20 per month beginning 180 days ARO Contract/Exercise of Option, as applicable. Basic quantity is for USAF requirements and will ship to FB2065. Delivery locations for options will be determined at time option (s) is exercised. This is a sole source acquisition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to Hoffman Engineering or their authorized distributor, Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc. Hoffman Engineering retains proprietary rights to the data for these items. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated soliciation date will be on or around September 6, 2012. Proposal will be due on or before September 26, 2012. It is required that all responsible sources specify in their response whether your company is a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, HUBZone small business, veteran-owned small business or service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
