- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO8 VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Security Integrated Groups, Aguas Buenas Ave. 1017 Urb. Santa Rosa, Bayamon, Puerto Rico 00956, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This action is for the procurement of Supplies and installation of Security Equipment. This equipment must be compatible with the actual system that VACHS has at this moment. To provide Electronic Surveillance Systems (CCTV) replacement and new installation for monitoring and surveillance as require high levels of assurance at VACHS and Satellite Clinics locations. The System will include, but not limited to: new cameras (PTZ and Fix), domes, housing, J boxes, Network Video Recorders (NVR), Program Licenses, Training, back up batteries, new system console (furniture) removal and installation, and seven (7) new monitors and other electronic security systems. These systems will be used for the purpose of controlling and monitoring building entrances, sensitive areas, mission critical asset areas and alarm conditions at VA Caribbean Healthcare System San Juan. No solicitation package is available. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements by May 28, 2013 10:00AM Caribbean/Puerto Rico. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
