- Motorola Brand Name J&A This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subart 12.6, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-13-Q-0281_LMRUpgrades is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66; Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Circular DPN 20130522; and Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Circular AFAC 2013-0327. This procurement is being issued as a brand name requirement under NAICS Code 334290 with a small business size standard of $10M. The result of this request for quotation will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. Items called for by this RFQ have been identified in the schedule by brand name. The contractor shall provide the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): CLIN 0001: 74 EA Smartzone, P25 9600 Baud Trunking with AES, OTAR and OTAP for LMR model #STS5000 CLIN 0002: 2 EA Smartzone, P25 9600 Baud Trunking with AES, OTAR and OTAP for LMR model # XTL5000 CLIN 0003: 2 EA Smartzone, P25 9600 Baud Trunking with AES, OTAR and OTAP for Motorola Base Station Model Astro Consolette This requirement is Brand Name, "equal" items will not be accepted. See attached Brand Name Justification.
