Description
This is a COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS for commercial items with the intent to award on a Sole source basis to Abbott Vascular 26531 Ynez Road Temecula, CA 92591 IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Solicitation/Synopsis prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The following factors to be used to evaluate offers: Technical Capability, Defined as ability of the products to meet the salient characteristics needed. Delivery Schedule. Defined as, lead time necessary to receive the product. Price. Technical capability and delivery schedule, when combined, are significant evaluation factors that will be used to arrive at a best value award decision. Contractors who do not meet the first 2 factors will not undergo a price evaluation.
