J&A Statutory Authority: FAR 8.405-6 - Only one responsible source Contract Award Date: On or about 6 June 2013 Synopsis: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Syracuse, NY intends to award sole source procurement to CareFusion Solutions, LLC, to provide the following equipment: 1. 5 eaNOX T3 Complete Kit (US version) 2. 5 eaFXT WARR-T3 Sleep Monitor Parts Only (2 year) 3. 2 bxNOX Disposable RIP Belt Small (bx/20) 4. 5 bxNOX Disposable RIP Belt Medium (bx/20) 5. 5 bxNOX Disposable RIP Belt Large (bx/20) 6. 2 pkT3 Filter Tube Connectors (pk/50) 7. 10 eaPro-flow Nasal oral Cannula 8. 5 eaT3 Service Kit 9. 2 bxNOX Nasal Cannula with filter (bx/40) 10. 2 pkT3 Semi-reusable RIP Belt Large (pk/10) The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 334510 with a business size standard of 500. The proposed contract is for equipment which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 8.405-6 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 8 days (NLT June 4, 2013 12:00 PM ET) after date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. System for Award management (SAM): Rule requires a firm to be registered in the SAM Registration Database (SAM) and ORCA (www.bpn.gov) prior to award of any contract and agreements.
