*****PLEASE CONTACT MIRANDA HARBIN AT MIRANDA.N.HARBIN@NASA.GOV TO SUBMIT OFFERS OR TECHNICAL QUESTIONS***** This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for transducer cable meeting the following specifications: MultiCable Part No. L8024-10CSF or equivalent, 24 AWG (7/32) tinned cooper, SR-PVC insulation, overall foil shield and drain wire, PVC jacket, 2000 ft. spools must be continuous (55 spools for a total length of 110,000 ft) and thermocouple extension wire meeting the following specifications: Omega EXPP-E-20-TWSH-UL-1000 or equivalent, Type E and 1000 ft must be continuous (68 spools for a total length of 68,000 ft). This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 237130 and $33.5 million respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to MSFC, AL 35812 is required. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. However, any award from this RFQ will require the potential vendor to be certified within the Online Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) Databases prior to award. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by June 5, 2013, 4 p.m. CST to Miranda Harbin, Miranda.N.Harbin@nasa.gov and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), and identification of any special commercial terms. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (FEB 2012), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. FAR 52.212-4 (FEB 2012), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. FAR 52.212-5 (JAN 2013), Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable and the following identified clauses are incorporated by reference: See attached terms and conditions. Telephone questions will not be accepted. All questions will be posted as a modification to this solicitation. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement.
