- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Roofing Requirements at Barksdale AFB, LA. The proposed contract will include repair, and replacement of roofs located on Barksdale AFB. The contractor shall furnish adequate supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform all the construction services contemplated under this contract. The location of the contract is Bossier City, LA. This acquisition will be solicited as a Request For Proposal. Source selection will be conducted in accordance with the Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT). A Fixed-Price Construction contract will result from the solicitation. Estimated Request for Proposal Issue Date is: 19 Jun 2013. Estimated Proposal Closing Date is: 19 Jul 2013. This will be an electronic solicitation release. No hard copies will be mailed. Solicitation, amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be posted to FedBizOpps (http://www.fbo.gov). It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to current information. The performance period will include a one-year base period with four, one-year option periods. It has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area serviced by SBA Louisiana District Office, and other 8(a) firms with a bona fide place of business within the geographical competitive area, and the assigned NAICS code. All other 8(a) Business Development participants are deemed ineligible to submit offers. In order to be eligible for award, registration in the System for Award Management database is required. To register, please go to http://www.sam.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238160 (Roofing Contractors). The small business size standard is $14 million in annual gross receipts. The unit small business specialist is Ms. Brenda Russo, (318)456-6940.
