- Description
- The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for acquisition of GHLN 11-1039 "Repair Fire Protection/Detection Systems". The government anticipates soliciting for the award of a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238210, with a size standard of $14 million. The scope of work includes renovation of fire protection and detection systems, installation of mass notification system, telecommunication and HVAC room modifications, interior repair and renovation of architectural systems and finishes, interior repair and renovation of electrical system, repair and renovation of mechanical systems, and repair and renovation of Fire Protection Systems. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This magnitude does not necessarily reflect the proximity of the actual estimated cost. The evaluation technique to be utilized for the contemplated award of the issued solicitation is lowest price technically acceptable. The government anticipates the issuance of the RFP by June 17, 2013 (tentatively) with an award date no later than September 30, 2013. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.sam.gov. Contractors must also submit their Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://sam.gov. The RFP will be released using the Electronic Posting System available at http://www.fbo.gov. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
