- Description
- This is a Sources Sought notice describing activities discussed in the soon-to-be released Proof of Concept MVDP RFP in support of USAID MVDP's portfolio. Sources Sought notice for "Proof of Concept MVDP RFP" in support of USAID's MVDP portfolio: The purpose of this "Proof of Concept MVDP" RFP is to solicit proposals for a contract to assist the USAID MVDP portfolio towards its goal to produce evidence indicating proof of concept of one or more malaria vaccine regimens. The Contractor will implement a series of R&D projects. USAID will direct each project and the "next steps" relevant to determine the proof of concept of several malaria vaccine regimens. It is anticipated that one (1) contract will be awarded, with an estimated start date of November 2013. This contract will be awarded for up to five (5) years and not to exceed $24,000,000 USD. The supporting RFP will be electronically available on or about Tuesday, June 25, 2013 and may be accessed through FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. No facsimile transmissions will be accepted. Special Note: USAID intends to issue a subsequent "Proof of Concept MVDP" RFP in support of this Sources Sought solicitation. Any comments received in response to this solicitation will be incorporated into the RFP, as deemed appropriate by USAID. The Contractor will implement a series of R&D projects as directed by USAID. Working in collaboration with the Contractor, USAID will invest in those projects, which it determines to be the needed "next steps" relevant to the proof of concept of several malaria vaccine regimens.
