- Notice of Intent to Sole Source AMIA Informatics Board Review Training The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contract Activity Central (PCAC) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), "Only One Responsible Source Available, no other source will satisfy agency requirements." The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with AMIA to provide Informatics Board Review Training. The training will provide preparation to VA clinical informaticians with the knowledge and practice required for the new American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Clinical Informatics Subspecialty Board and Exam. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611710 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $14 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
