- The Department of the Treasury's (Treasury), Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) Office of Treasury Procurement Services (OTPS), on behalf of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program (TRIP) Office anticipates intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about ***June 25, 2013*** for reinsurance claims management services. The solicitation will not be available until the anticipated date of release. The Government anticipates the award of a Single-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 5-month transition period, 10-month base period and (4) 12-month option periods. All options will be evaluated for award purposes. The IDIQ is for reinsurance claims management services intended to furnish a web-based system for the receipt and exchange of information with the Treasury, participating insurers and any other TRIP contractors using employees trained in insurance, reinsurance and the functioning of the TRIP. The Contractor shall provide the means for secure, web based access and information exchanges with the Treasury and Treasury's contractors. Also, the Contractor shall assure that any systems and interfaces with the Treasury and Treasury's contractors provide security for the information transmitted and ensure that the business sensitive, proprietary and personal information received and generated is suitably protected.
