Amendment #0001 is posted 3 May with 3 attachments for bond forms. Solicitation AG-9A63-S-13-0105 is posted 3 May 2013 with 11 Attachments. The USDA-FS is posting a pre-solicitation notice for the purpose of informing industry that a solicitation AG-9A63-S-13-0105 for construction work is projected to be posted for the following: The Tahoe National Forest requires work to improve drainage throughout the dispersed Lakeside camping area. The project will include obliteration of unneeded roads and compacted areas within the dispersed camping area. Barrier boulders will be placed to block closed areas. Several "islands" within the camping areas will be ripped, seeded and lined with boulders. And then approximately 0.9 miles of existing Road will be bladed and graveled. The Lakeside Campground project is located, approximately 1.5 miles east from the intersection of State Route 89 and Forest Route 89-32. The solicitation is scheduled to be posted o/a 3 May 2013. The projected response due date is 3 June 2013. All work will be accomplished IAW the Statement of Work (SOW), Maps and Attachments (which will be available in the solicitation) and all applicable regulatory guidance. The Contractor shall provide everything--including, but not limited to, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract clearly states is to be furnished by the Government. Contractors are encouraged to conduct a Site Visit-see 52.236-27 in solicitation. There is no formal site visit projected. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Construction contract, subject to the Davis Bacon Act with a projected magnitude of construction price range of $100,000.00-$250,000.00. The proposed performance period is 40 days. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, with a primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 238910 and a related small business size standard of $14.0 Million. Interested parties are advised to ensure they are registered in the System for Award Management www.sam.gov. This notice is not a request for proposals and proposals received as a result of this pre-solicitation notice will not be accepted or evaluated. All questions must be submitted by email to hiblack@fs.fed.us. No telephone questions will be accepted. This notice is the only official notice of solicitation.
