- A. Amendment 1 The solicitation for this project will be posted on or about April 30, 2013 with proposals due on or about May 16, 2013. Attention: Funding for this requirement is currently not available but is anticipated for this fiscal year. In the event funding is not received the solicitation will be cancelled and no award will be made. Description: The Bull Run Creek Culvert Replacement at FSR 7375 includes removal of an existing pipe culvert, installation of a 3-sided box culvert, and realignment of 150 feet of Bull Run Creek. This project is located immediately adjacent to Grant County Road 24, also known as the Elkhorn Drive Scenic Byway. Because of this adjacency, traffic control and safety are expected to be key considerations in the successful completion of this project. Two material sources are designated as commercial. However, two Forest Service pits have been identified that may be used at the contractor's discretion for disposal areas and as a source of crushed aggregate. These sources are located on NFSR's 7375100 and 1900520. The project is located in T9S,R36E, S19. To get to the project from Sumpter, OR proceed west on Baker County Road 520 approximately 6 miles. Continue west on Grant County Road 24 approximately 104 miles. Project is on the left at junction of County Road 24 and Forest System Road (FSR) 7375. Price Range: The Government's estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000.
