- The U. S. General Services Administration and the Atlanta City Council President Ceasar C. Mitchell have partnered to bring you the annual "Back to Business" Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 20, 2013. This free-of-charge event offers educational, training and business networking for all businesses who are interested in seeking business with government and corporate entities. There will be panel discussions on doing business with the Atlanta Falcons on the new stadium, on citywide construction opportunities, procurement, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certifications, and finance and business development. Exhibitors include the City of Atlanta Department of Procurement, City of Atlanta Department of Contract Compliance, Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County Procurement, Dekalb County Procurement, Georgia Department of State Purchasing, General Services Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Veterans Administration Medical Center, Army Corps of Engineers, Centers for Disease Control, Georgia Power, Office Depot, United Parcel Service, Grady Memorial Hospital, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, All 1 Security Services, Brooks-Range Contract Services, Brasfield & Gorrie, Delta Airlines, Atlanta Housing Authority, Staples, U. S. Housing & Urban Development, MARTA and Atlanta Falcons Football Team. Others have been invited. There will also be free resources and counseling available that include Small Business Administration, Atlanta Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Mentor-Protégé Connection, Georgia State Small Business Development Center, Georgia Hispanic Construction Association, African American Chamber of Commerce, Latin American Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Business League, Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, Urban League of Greater Atlanta, National Association of Women in Construction, Atlanta Metro Chamber of Commerce, Invest Atlanta & Conference of Minority Transportation Officials.
