- Description
- A Pre-Solicitation Conference for all interested contractors will be conducted on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Fort Mifflin Project Office, U.S. Army Reservation, located at 6400 Hog Island Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19153 at approximately 9:00 a.m. Immediately following the conference, all are invited to visit the Fort Mifflin disposal area. All attendees must pre-register for the conference by submitting their name and company affiliation to Ms. Sandi Fletcher at Sandra.G.Fletcher@usace.army.mil. A brief description of the project is as follows: The Conference will be held for the Delaware River Main Channel Deepening (DRMCD) Project which will consist of new work dredging within the Delaware River to include the following: a) dredging of the Philadelphia Harbor, and Tinicum Ranges of the Delaware River main channel; b) dredging of the Delaware River in the vicinity of Camden, New Jersey, approximately between Station 19+700 to Station 24+300; c) dredging shall be required to a depth of 45 feet MLLW plus 1-foot allowable over depth within the contract limits; d) the side slope dredging requirements for this project are 3H to 1V within the contract limits; and e) the Government-furnished disposal area available for use under this contract is Fort Mifflin disposal area.
