Introduction/Description: The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey. Offerors must have three (3) years ™ experience in NAVAIDS The contractor is required to commence work under this contract on August 1, 2013 prosecute the work diligently, and complete the entire work and ready for use no later than November 1, 2013 This statement of work, together with the specifications, drawings, and FAA standards as indicated in the contract documents, covers the requirements for all work associated with Runway Safety Area Project including the demolition of the existing facilities at Ontario International Airport located at Ontario, California. This project includes but is not limited to and incidental related work: For Runway 08L Localizer site: a. Construction of a concrete foundation for a Localizer Antenna Array pad and installation of an aircraft rated concrete pullboxes. b. Installation of a concrete ductbank for RF, Control and Power cables as well as the installation (including the furnishing of cables) of the mentioned cables. c. Construction of a ground counterpoise system around the Localizer antenna concrete foundation. d. Installation the ground checkpoint markers and relocation of ILS critical signs per drawings. e. Dissemble of the Localizer antenna arrays from the exiting concrete pad and assemble of the Localizer antenna arrays at the new concrete pad. f. Demolition of the existing concrete foundation, pullboxes, junction boxes, etc and restore the area to match the existing surrounding. g. Relocate and install a new power distribution rack. Demolish the existing power distribution rack. For Runway 26R Localizer and DME site: a. Construction of a concrete foundation for a Localizer Antenna Array pad and installation of an aircraft rated concrete pullboxes. b. Installation of a concrete ductbank for RF, Control and Power cables as well as the installation (including the furnishing of cables) of the mentioned cables. c. Construction of a ground counterpoise system around the Localizer antenna concrete foundation. d. Installation the ground checkpoint markers and relocation of ILS critical signs per drawings. e. Dissemble of the Localizer antenna arrays from the exiting concrete pad and assemble of the Localizer antenna arrays at the new concrete pad. f. Set new Localizer shelter and its concrete foundation. g. Install new ductbanks for power and communication from the old site. h. Install a new concrete foundation for DME. i. Demolition of the existing concrete foundation, pullboxes, junction boxes, etc and restore the area to match the existing surrounding. Dispose of the existing Localizer shelter. For Runway 26L Inner Marker (IM) a. Remove and dispose of the existing shelter and its concrete foundation and the existing transformer. b. Modify the IM antenna concrete footing c. Set concrete pullboxes for communication and RF d. Installation of a concrete ductbank for RF For Runway 26R MALSR: a. Remove and dispose of the existing power distribution rack. b. Relocate and install a new power distribution rack outside of runway safety area. c. Install ductbank and concrete pullboxes. For Runway 08L MALSR: a. Demolition of chain link fence and concrete curb.
