- Copy of the Solicitation Single Source Justification Western Area Power Administration intends to negotiate a sole source contract for Constant Oil Pressure System Tank Air Cells, a part manufactured exclusively for Westinghouse transformers by ABB, Inc. This acquisition will be handled as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. ABB, Inc. has the proprietary ownership of design and specialized repair parts for an AU KU1A Transformer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this is 335311 and the business size standard is 750 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements must be received within 5 days after date of publication of this notice and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government's requirements.
