- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS TO LEASE APPROXIMATELY 24,075 RSF (YIELDING APPROXIMATELY 20,981 - 21,985 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet) OF OFFICE SPACE IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK SOLICITATION # 1NY2074 The United States Government seeks to lease approximately 24,075 rentable square feet (approximately 20,981 - 21,985 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet) of contiguous office space. Space on a single floor is preferred. Space on no more than two (2) contiguous floors may be considered, provided that if space is offered on more than one floor, at least 50% of the space must be contiguous on one floor. Space must be above ground level and must be serviced by at least two (2) elevators, one of which may serve as a freight elevator. The space must meet requirements for fire and life safety plus handicapped access in accordance with PL-90-480. LEASE TERM: Ten (10) years, five (5) years firm with sixty (60) days cancellation notice. PARKING: The Government requires one (1) reserved and marked handicap accessible parking space and two (2) general parking spaces. DELINEATED AREA: Brooklyn, New York as described by the area below: Northern Boundary: Flushing Avenue/Prospect Street Western Boundary: Columbia Heights/Everit Street Southern Boundary: Atlantic Avenue Eastern Boundary: Washington Avenue EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN JUNE 4, 2013 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1.Building name and address, and location of space in the building 2.Legal description 3.One-eighth inch scale drawing of the space being offered 4.ANSI/BOMA defined Office Area Square Feet 5.Rentable Square Feet offered and Rental Rate per square foot. (Specifying services, utilities, electricity and tenant improvement allowance included) 6.Percentage of Common Area Factor used to determine the Rentable Square Feet 7.Name, address, telephone number and email address of individual to be contacted Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the Offeror is representing more than one property, the Offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner.
