- Joint Base Andrews is intending to award a firm fixed price (FFP) service IDC for ROOF SURVEY AND INSPECTION at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland locations for a 12 month base period plus four 12 month option periods plus a potential 6 month extension IAW FAR 52.217-8 'Option to Extend Services'. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform roof survey and maintenance. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 238160 (Roofing Contractors). The period of performance will be from 1 September 2013 through 31 August 2018, plus a potential 6 month extension (through 28 Feb 2018). The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods when adequate notification is given. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. In accordance with FAR 19.14, this action is 100% set-aside for Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOB). Offers shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
