- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information attached to this notice. The Social Security Administration (SSA), Headquarters is publishing this combined synopsis/solicitation notifying interested individuals of the attached Request for Quotation for 120 Datasafe12HX500FR batteries to be replaced with 12HX505FR batteries, which are the manufacturer?s replacement for the 12HX500FR. The place of performance is located in Baltimore, Md. The Social Security Administration seeks to identify potential small business concerns located between thirty and fifty miles of SSA?s headquarters in Woodlawn. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. Quotations received from other than small business concerns will not be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for Electrical contractors and other wiring installation contractors is 238210 with a small business size standard of $14.0 million. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database at www.sam.gov prior to award. All contractors must undergo a security background screening prior to performance of any work. This solicitation may be downloaded at https://www.fedconnect.net.
