Description

In accordance with A.M.S. policy 3.2.1.2.1, this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from interested business concerns including SBA certified 8(a) firms and other small business concerns. This market survey is for informational purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise to contract by the Government. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is seeking interested sources that are capable of performing the work as described on the attachment. The NAICS code projected for the procurement 541511, 541512, 541519: Computer programming and design services. SBA Size Standard for Small Business is $25.5 million. This survey will aid the FAA in its determination as to whether adequate competition exists to conduct this procurement as a full and open competition. -Response Submission In order to make determinations as to the nature of this potential solicitation, FAA requires the following information from interested vendors: Brief general description of the operation of the system -List of proposed hardware -List of software required -Basic cabling diagram -Rough Order of Magnitude Cost Estimate Evaluation Criteria (by order of importance) -Availability “ systems not available prior to July 31 will not be considered -Basic Functionality “ Must comply with items 1 through 7 under śGeneral Requirements ť (above) -Cost “ The cost of the system (excluding displays and video extenders) should not exceed $50,000. -Additional functionality “ compliance with items 8 through 19 All costs associated with the preparation or submission of responses is the responsibility of the potential source. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. Any proprietary information submitted must be properly identified.
