Description
NSN: 3110-01-312-9420, Bearing, Roller Cylinder. Purchase Request Number IQC1000008989. Source control item. Sikorsky Aircraft (CAGE 78286), Drawing SB2307 REV M, Part Number SB2307-501. Approved source for this item is: FAG Aerospace Inc. (CAGE 36069). Terms are FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Stocked Item. Requested delivery is 266 days after receipt of order. This NSN is a critical application item and is not commercial. Item is a Critical Safety Item per SAP on 5/27/13. Export control, Certificate of Quality Compliance, and a contractor first article test applies. Award from this solicitation can only be made for a bearing manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada and for each ball or roller bearing, the cost of the bearing components mined, produced or manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada must exceed 50% of the total cost of the bearing components of that ball or roller bearing. SEE DFARS CLAUSE 252.225-7016, RESTRICTION ON ACQUISITION OF BALL AND ROLLER BEARINGS (DEC 2010 ). Approved critical characteristics identified in QAP B10. The Quality Control Code for this part is RCJ. Solicited as an Unrestricted requirement on an Other Than Full and Open competitive basis. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will be effective for a three-year base period with option provisions included to extend the term of the contract for a two year option period. The estimated annual demand quantity is 121 each per year. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 37 each (base year only). Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. Surge requirements are not applicable. This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
