Description

Building 8 Demolition SOW Scope of work includes the demolition of Bldg 8 at the Medical Center for the VA Long Beach Healthcare Center, Long Beach, CA. Bldg 8 is approximately 34,000 GSF, comprising 2 floors and a basement, and constructed primarily in concrete. Work shall include asbestos and hazardous material abatement, capping and/or relocation of Bldg and campus utilities and site improvement. Bldg 8 is connected to the campus connecting corridors which would require the contractor to perform work to maintain operation of the corridor during the demolition. Limited access to the Bldg site should be expected. The Cost Range for this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000.
