- Description
- Due to the nature and complexity of the work expected to be completed under the Multi-Award-Contract-Multi-Order (MAC-MO) pilot program in San Diego (N00024-13-R-4408), the Government currently expects the solicitation to require offerors to have, or be able to attain before award, a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) to be eligible for award. To support small businesses, the Government intends to include a significant small business sub-contracting goal in the pilot procurement. Additionally, the Government intends to look for additional opportunities to both award MAC contracts to ABRs and expand small business set-aside opportunities if the MAC-MO pilot is successful and is implemented Nation-wide. Thus, non-MSRA holders are encouraged to attend the Industry Day to learn more about the proposed strategy from the perspective of a sub-contractor or as a potential future prime contractor as well as to provide feedback to the Government. Following the Industry Day, the Government intends to post the Government presentation and a transcription of Industry questions and Government responses.
