Description
This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Regional Contracting Office -Vicenza, Italy is releasing this synopsis electronically via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) and FEDBIZZOPS. Solicitation number W56PFY-13-T-0015 will be issued as a request for proposal (RFP) at a later time. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-66 Effective April 1, 2013. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this project is 561210 and the business size standard is $40M. This requirement is not set aside for small business. The solicitation will include Nine (9) CLINs, and will have a sixty (60) month ordering period. The government anticipates the award being a Firm Fixed Price Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Commercial Item Contract for a U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) limited life support services within the AFRICOM Area Of Responsibility (AOR). Limited life support will include temporary structures, ground preparation, power, food service, force protection materials, field sanitation, and laundry service. The contractor shall provide all necessary resources including logistics support and management to be able to provide limited life support within the AFRICOM AOR. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary licenses and permits required to operate in the applicable countries and shall comply with applicable laws, codes and regulations within each of those countries in connection with the execution of the contract. Delivery and acceptance will be FOB destination. Destination location will be addressed on each task order. All firms must be registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil at time of proposal submittal. DUNS, Cage Code and Terms & Conditions shall be submitted with the proposal. All firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for award. Within one (1) to two (2) weeks a draft performance work statement will be added as a amendment to the synopsis to solicit questions and feedback from contractors.
