- ***Please note that the date provided as the solicitation date is the date this notice was posted and the opening date is the date your response to the request is required.*** Norfolk Ship Support Activity-Regional Maintenance Center (NSSA-RMC), PO Box 215, Portsmouth, VA, 23705-0215, is seeking to identify potential sources to accomplish a Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract involving the scheduled CNO Phased Maintenance Availability (PMA) to include miscellaneous structural, mechanical, and electrical repairs and unscheduled availabilities on the USS MESA VERDE (LPD-19). There are no planned repairs involving dry docking. NAICS code 336611 applies, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Potential sources are notified that the Limitations on Subcontracting clause (FAR 52.219-14) will be included in any RFP set aside for small business concerns. Only interested parties who intend to submit a proposal should submit a written expression of interest to the address stated below not later than June 17, 2013. If your firm does not have a facility with acceptable pier space for this vessel, please explain how you intend to meet the requirements for the scheduled CNO Phased Maintenance Availability (PMA). This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.
