- Description: The Rogue River-Siskiyou NF, Gold Beach RD has a requirement for road reconstruction to repair flood damaged sites located on the Gold Beach Ranger District, Curry County, Oregon. The base item project work includes but is not limited to: construction surveying and staking, clearing and grubbing, removal of culverts and asphalt, roadway excavation, backfill and haul of unsuitable excavation, development of rock quarry to obtain unclassified borrow, backfill and riprap, installing culverts, construction of reinforced soil embankment, dewatering and erosion control, placement of roadway aggregate, unclassified borrow, riprap and hot asphalt concrete paving. Provide signing and traffic control per MUTCD standards. The project work for option items includes but not limited to: clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, backfill and haul of unsuitable excavation, construction of reinforced soil embankment, placement of roadway aggregate and riprap slope protection, development of rock quarry to obtain unclassfied borrow, backfill, and riprap. Provide signing and traffic control per MUTCD standards. The magnitude of construction for this acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000. A bid bond of 20 percent is required. A payment bond (100 percent) and a performance bond (100 percent) will be required after award. The solicitation will be available for download from the FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov on or about June 19, 2013. This project is 100% set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZONE).
