- Description
- The Government intends to enter into an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) contract with a commercial firm to supply a full-line of USDA No.1 or better Fresh Fruit and Vegetable (FF&V) products to Department of Defense (Troop) and Non-Department of Defense (USDA School and Reservation) customers in the Arizona Zone. Shell eggs may be added at any time during this contract to support the customers in the Arizona Zone. The solicitation will be Full & Open Competition (NAICS Code 311991/size standard 500). The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), Fixed Price with an Economic Price Adjustment based on cost of supplies/materials. The resultant contract will be for 4.5 years. It contains one (1) eighteen month (18 month) base period plus two (2) eighteen (18) month option periods. The acquisition method is low price/technically acceptable (LPTA). The total contract dollar value estimate is ($19,950,000.00), not to exceed 250% max ($49,875,000.00) of the estimate. The guaranteed minimum contract dollar value (10% of the 18-mo estimate) is $665,000.00. Each eighteen (18) month option period will be at an estimated dollar value of $6,650,000.00.
