- Contractor's Construction Handbook dated May 2013 Schedule of Material Submittals Statement of Work Solicitation (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. (II) Solicitation W91SMC-13-R-0002 is being issued as a Request for Proposal. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-66 dated 01 Apr 13. (IV) This acquisition is reserved for small business concerns. The Government intends to issue a single award to one offeror. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238220, small business size $14 million. (V) Commercial Item Description: The 182 Airlift Wing Illinois Air National Guard is soliciting non-personal services to Rebuild Globe Radiant Heat System. The contractor is to provide all management, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) dated 02 Apr 13 and the Contractor's Construction Handbook dated May 2013. The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract to the offeror who offers the best value to the Government. Best value considerations will be based on Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures. At least three past performance references shall be submitted with the following information: project number, date of services, point of contact and telephone number. Period of Performance is 120 days from the Notice to Proceed. (VI) Reference solicitation for the provisions and clauses applicable to this solicitation, *Note: The full text of a clause/provision may be accessed electronically at this address: http://www.fbo.gov; Additional FAR clauses within the above clauses, which are applicable, will be incorporated into the solicitation and the resulting contract. (VII) The solicitation and all subsequent notices and amendments will be posted on the Internet at: http://www.fbo.gov. (VIII) Terms of this solicitation and specification remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of solicitation shall apply. (X) A site visit is scheduled for 11 Jun 13 at 9:00am (CST).
