Description
J&A Sole Source - Dunn County The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, utilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform chemical application as defined in the PWS except for those items specified as government furnished property and services (Part 3). The contractor shall perform to the standards in the PWS. less than br greater than Approximately 493,000 acres of federal land is administered by the USACE Garrison Project. Said land starts approximately two (2) miles downstream of the Garrison Dam and continues upstream along both riverbanks (including shoreline) of Lake Sakakawea (in McLean, Mercer, Dunn, McKenzie, Williams and Mountrail Counties) less than br greater than to west of the Highway 85 Bridge near Williston, ND almost to the Montana border. Noxious weed control and vegetation management are a component of our stewardship responsibilities. less than br greater than The contractor shall perform chemical application services on federal land administered by the USACE Garrison Project. Services include 1) proactively surveying said lands for noxious weeds during appropriate growing season(s), 2) inventorying noxious weeds by collecting GPS data (coordinates, weed species, and acres of infestation), 3) controlling noxious weeds via appropriate chemical application, 4) documenting chemical application services via PAR form completion, 5) documenting the degree of noxious weed infestations via preparation and submittal of comprehensive electronic database, and 6) preparation and submittal of invoices for payment of services.
