Description
1. Introduction. The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Huachuca Division, in support of the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), will host an Industry Day for the Information Management Communications Systems III (IMCS III) program on Tuesday, 2 July 2013 in Greely Hall Auditorium, Building 61801, Room 1215 at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The purpose of the unclassified conference is to provide industry with information concerning an anticipated Request For Proposal (RFP) for IMCS III scheduled for release later this calendar year. The proposed contract action is anticipated to be issued as a small business set-aside, firm-fixed price award. This contract will be comprised of a base year and (4) option years. 2. Background. NETCOM provides non-personal Administrative Telephone Services (ATS) and Information Technology (IT) support services consisting of unified capabilities, wired telecommunications, voice, video, and data services for their state-side Network Enterprise Center (NEC) communication systems. NECs are responsible for executing and implementing Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) common-user policies, standards, architectures, programs, plans and budgets for communications and communications support, visual information, information assurance (IA), and automation support. Please see the attached DRAFT version PWS for further description of the requirement. 3. Registration. Contractors interested in attending the conference must RSVP using the form provided in this notice. Attendance will be limited solely to pre-registered attendees and limited to not more than 6 attendees per vendor team (prime and subcontractor). The attached registration must be sent by email to carlos.j.reed.civ@mail.mil and kimberly.s.johnson-riggins.civ@mail.mil. The subject line for the email should read quote mark IMCS III Industry Day Registration quote mark. THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS 10:00 AM ARIZONA TIME, MONDAY, 17 JUNE 2013. LATE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 4. Classification/Questions. The briefings will be UNCLASSIFIED. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions both in advance of and during the conference. Questions should be submitted in advance on the form provided in this notice NO LATER THAN 17 JUNE 2013 and forwarded via e-mail to carlos.j.reed.civ@mail.mil and kimberly.s.johnson-riggins.civ@mail.mil. The subject line for the email should read quote mark IMCS III Conference Questions quote mark. These questions may be answered at the conference as time permits. Questions/responses will be made available on FedBizOpps after the conference. A site visit will not be conducted. However, NEC facilities and equipment will be presented in photographic slides and briefed at the conference. Questions regarding the facilities and equipment may be submitted in writing at the conference or via email to carlos.j.reed.civ@mail.mil and kimberly.s.johnson-riggins.civ@mail.mil by 10:00 am Arizona Time 8 July 2013. Questions and/or responses from the conference will be posted on FedBizOpps after the conference. 5. Visitor Procedures. All attendees must have a valid photo ID, proof of insurance, and registration for their vehicle to access Fort Huachuca. Parking is extremely limited at Greely Hall and carpooling is strongly encouraged. Hotels in the area and directions to Greely Hall are provided as attachments to this notice. Security check-in and pre-registration confirmation will begin at 0700 at the security counter located at the entrance of Greely Hall. The conference will begin at 0800. 6. Agenda. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of any responses or pay for the preparation of any information submitted or use of such information. All information received will be used for planning and market research purposes only.
