- This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for proposal, an invitation for bids, or a request for SF 330's. A solicitation is not available at this time. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this Sources Sought announcement. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215 is issuing this Sources Sought notice to determine the availability of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) that have the experience and capabilities to provide Construction Services to supply normal and emergency power as described below for project titled "ACC Dental Emergency Power" at the Ambulatory Care Center / Dental Surgery Room, at the VAPHS, H.J. Heinz Campus, Pittsburgh PA, 15215. Responses to this notice will be used to determine the type of set-aside to be used, if warranted. The purpose of this contract is to supply the dental air compressors, dental vacuum systems, and the Dental Surgery Room with normal and emergency power. This will be accomplished by adding new panel boxes, circuits, conduit, transformer and rewiring existing panel boxes. The contractor will mark up the panel schedules and drawings, to indicate the as-built conditions of the work performed under this scope of work and provide in an AutoCAD 2010 drawing. This RFI is open to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses only; please do not respond unless you are a SDVOSB registered and verified at: www.vetbiz.gov. The construction estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000; the NAICS code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $35,000,000. Interested contractors must register on the "Interested Vendors List" for this RFI no later than June 07, 2013. Phone inquiries, faxes, and electronic submissions will not be accepted. Do not submit documentation of any kind by phone, fax, or email. Communications will not be acknowledged. The ONLY requirement at this time is to register as an interested vendor. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. NO FURTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS RFI IS SOLELY FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES. THE ONLY REQUIREMENT AT THIS TIME IS REGISTRATION ON THE "INTERESTED VENDORS LIST".
