- Description
- This is a notice of intent that AFMC AFSC/PZAAC anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Non-Commercial Sole Source Repair Acquisition. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Type Acquisition for the Repair of Air Cooling Turbine Machines. This acquisition will consist of a period of a 5-Year Period (Basic Year, plus 4 Option Years). The Input NSN is: 4130-01-306-6309RN; and the Output NSN is: 4130-01-483-6711RN. The Input P/N is: 571745-2-1; and the Output P/N is: 571745-4-1. The total quantity is 228 each of the Air Cooling Turbine Machines. The quantity breakdown is as follows: Basic Year Quantity = BEQ of 60 Each; Option I Quantity = BEQ of 57 Each; Option II Quantity = BEQ of 37 Each; Option III Quantity = BEQ of 37 Each; and Option IV Quantity = BEQ of 37 Each. This acquisition is Sole Source to Honeywell International, Inc. (Cage Code: 02UL7). Delivery will be Five (5) Each Per Month within 365 Calendar Days ARO; or Five (5) Each Per Month After Receipt Order Reparable (whichever is later). Early Delivery is acceptable. The issue date for the Solicitation will be approximately 8 July 2013 with a Proposal Due Date of 7 August 2013. The RFP will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: ww.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
