Highly specialized ground based digital data recording systems is being procured. Award to ZODIAC DATA SYSTEMS, INC., 11800 AmberPark Dr STE 140, Alpharetta, GA 30009-2269 in the amount of $2,205,754.05, will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Award on or about 27 JUNE 2013. Zodiac is the sole manufacturer of the required supplies to support the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 Mission Control Rooms (MCRs). Ground Station & Telemetry Recorders Technical Specifications for HEIM DATaREC 4 series: The HEIM DATaRec 4 GSSrs is a ground based system for data acquisition, recording and data distribution. The GSSrs is the combination of signal modules of the DATaRec 4 system with an industrial computer in a robust and stable housing. The housing itself is a 19" rack mountable massive alloy construction. Also the internal fixture of the DATaRec 4 signal modules is very robust and will survive e.g. rough transportation. For an easy connection the front of the installed signal modules with their operating elements and their connectors are accessible from the rear side of the GSSrs. Salient Characteristics are as follows: Data rate up to 900 Mbit/s (up to 1.7 Gbit/s with 2 Link modules and SSDs; optional). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered exclusively for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
