- NOTICE TO CONTRACTOR This is a COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS for commercial items with the intent to award on a sole source basis to Vaisala Veriteq, 10D Gill Street, Woburn, MA 01801-1068 IAW FAR 13.106-1(b). All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Solicitation/Synopsis prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsive and responsible offeror whose conforming response is determined to provide the Government with a fair and reasonable quote, price and other factors considered. The following factors to be used to evaluate offers: Technical Capability, delivery and price. Technical capability and delivery, when combined, are significant evaluation factors that will be used to arrive at a award decision. Contractors who do not meet the first two (2) factors will not undergo a price evaluation. The Government will only consider firm fixed-price quotations.
