- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The South Carolina National Guard will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Performance Work Statement (PWS) is provided. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55 Effective on January 1, 2013. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The solicitation W912QG-13-T-0013 is issued as a Request for Quote. This procurement is 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 721110. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $30 million. The Yellow Ribbon Family Program for the South Carolina Army National Guard needs a quote for a conference being held 12-14 July, 2013. This requirement is only for overflow lodging. The facility must be able to provide breakfast meals. This will be a firm fixed priced contract. The contract will be awarded to lowest priced technically acceptable. Technical acceptablility is meeting all solicitation and performance work statement (PWS) requirements. A site visit to the hotel may be required prior to award. The Place of Performance will be the hotel provided in the selected offer. The hotel must be located in Greenville, SC. This solicitation is not for third party vendors or event planners to bid. For quoting this event, be sure to follow the Contract Line Item Structure listed below. Remember that we are a tax exempt organization and we are not able to pay service fees or gratuities.
