- SCOPE OF WORK The work includes, but is not limited to, fabricating, testing, painting, prestressing, and delivering new lock chamber Miter Gates to Lock 13 in Fulton, Illinois and Lock 16 in Muscatine, Iowa; and retrieving two existing lock chamber miter gate(s) from the same location for disposal by the Contractor. CONTRACT PERIOD The Government reserves the right to award any or all options within 530 calendar days after the date of award. The contract performance period for the base bid is 700 calendar days. If Options 1 and/or 2 are awarded by the government, the base bid shall be delivered to the government on or before 700 calendar days after the Base Bid award date, and the option(s) shall be delivered on or before 1,060 calendar days after the base bid award date. DELIVERY Specific delivery information is detailed in Section 35 20 16.33 - MITER GATES, paragraph DELIVERY OF NEW MITER GATES.
