- The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) seeks a single provider that can provide Cisco Cast Iron anti-spam appliances, licenses and maintenance subscriptions. The purpose of this modification/ amendment is to provide answers to questions submitted by interested parties. DESCRIPTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS: ACHP requires Cisco Cast Iron anti-spam appliances, licenses and maintenance subscription that will allow will ACHP to continue monitoring and managing anti-spam, anti-virus, virus outbreak filters, bounce verification, incoming mail handling, and centralized management without interruption. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: 1. Does the client require the contractor to have Cisco Gold Partner status to bid on the Cisco Cast Iron, Anti-spam Appliances, Licenses opportunity? Answer: No, the contractor is not required to have Cisco Gold Partner status to bid on this requirement. However, the bidder must be able to provide for the requirement as specified. 2. It appears that one of the products (SMARTnet 1 Year for Cisco C170 Appliance, Maintenance Subscription. P/N# CON-SNY-C170-K9) that is listed on CLINs 2, 4, 6, and 8 may not have the correct product number associated with it. CON-SNT-C170-K9 appears to be the appropriate product number for the warranty on the appliance you've listed on CLIN 0001. Could you confirm our assumption that you would like us to quote you on CON-SNT-C170-K9 for CLINS 2, 4, 6, and 8? Answer: Yes, the part number has a typo in the posting. It should be as suggested, CON-SNT-C170-K9. 3. Does the agency have a have a preferred provider? Answer: No, however this requirement is a Total Small Business Set Aside. All quotes are due by NLT June 11, 2012 @ 3:00pm EST.
