Description

The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System, Biloxi, MS, VISN 16, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), intends to negotiate a sole source Interim (bridge) purchase order with Autumn View Senior Day Services, LTC, of Gulfport MS for Contract Adult Day Health Care Facility Services (CADHC) for eligible Veterans in the Coastal Mississippi area. NAICS Code 624120 (Day Care Centers Adult) applies and the Small Business Size Standard is $10M. The Period of Performance will be for (12) months from 6/18/2013 - 6/18/2014. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or a request for offers. No solicitation package is available at this time. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice (VA-256-13-Q-1086) must show clear and convincing evidence that a prospective offeror can fulfill the requirements of this solicitation and that competition would be in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties should submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer within one business day of the date of this notice. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for award. Information on CCR is available at www.ccr.gov. Please note that this is only an Interim Purchase Order, a long term solicitation shall be released for full and open competition when this interim contract expires in June of 2014.
