TYPES OF NOTICES SYNOPSIS CONSTRUCTION Solicitation Number N40080-13-R-2064 20 June 2013 Contact Point: Jillita Bulluck 202-685-0848; Contracting Officer: Tonja Jenkins Contracting Officer, 202-685-8168 NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND WASHINGTON PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT SECURITY CLEARED MINI-JOB ORDER CONTRACT (JOC) PWD WASHINGTON FEAD AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Washington, PWD Washington intends to award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity Firm Fixed Price contract to procure a Top Secret Facility-Cleared contractor to perform a Job Order Contract (JOC) for the PWD Washington Area of Responsibility. The work includes providing Secret and Top Secret Cleared personnel to perform in secured work space. The Government is not required to provide sponsorship for Top Secret Clearance of a Facility or any person. The successor shall have qualified personnel on or before the execution date off the contract. The contract duration is one (1) year, with Orders ranging from $150,000.00 to $750,000.00. The total contract value will not exceed $4,000,000. The contract performance period is estimated from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $33.5 Million. The work shall be located at the installations and facilities under the Public Works Department Washington Area of Responsibility in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The exact location will be directed by the Scopes of Work required. Projects may consist of earthwork, site work, concrete, precast concrete, masonry, steel, pre-engineered structures, masonry, metals, steel studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, interior finishes and painting, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, fire protection system, doors, windows, hazardous materials abatement and other items defined in the Contract Documents. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to fulfill this procurement as an 8(a) sole source award to Cooper Materials Handling, Inc. The Government anticipates awarding this action on or about 20 June 2013.
