- This is a sources sought synopsis to determine the availability of potential sources capable of linking Service members to institutions that provide high quality education that maximizes prior learning experience, military experience, occupational specialty, testing, and transferability of academic credits in support of the Defense Activity for Non-traditional Education Support (DANTES). Among the functions to be accomplished are the management of the SOC Network, management of specific task Projects and Programs, and the maintenance of a database for managing these projects and programs and evaluating adherence to the SOC Principles and Criteria. The performance work statement is attached to the NECO site. The anticipated period of performance is from 01 October 2014 through 30 September 2015 with four 12 month option periods. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is anticipated. The Government intends to use the policies contained in FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation, in its resultant contract for the services described herein. The NAIC code for this acquisition is 611710. Offerors possessing the requisite skills, resources, and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to respond to this marketing research survey/source sought via a submission of an executive summary, no more than two (2) pages in length. The submission should include the following information: (1) company name, address, point of contact with corresponding phone number and e-mail address, and business size, and (2) relevant corporate experience. Relevant corporate experience is defined as experience (within the last five years) that is of the same or similar scope, and of the same or similar magnitude that which is described herein. This relevant corporate experience information should identify the applicable contract number; the total contract dollar amount; contract period of performance; details of the relevant services provided to include a brief description of the services performed; and customer point of contact with corresponding telephone number and e-mail address. All submissions are required to be submitted via e-mail to jaime.slattery@navy.mil no later than 3pm (local time/Philadelphia, PA) on 21 June 2013.
