- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA, is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Small Business, HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concerns; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. Small business concerns should be capable of furnishing all labor, supervision, and parts, to include all equipment necessary to perform all work required under the proposed contract. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Contractor shall provide labor, transportation, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering, equipment and management necessary to pump out, properly dispose of and clean grease traps and barrels. For All Visits by Contractor Contractor (or Representative) shall sign-in upon arrival at Engineering Department Office, Building 801, Room 1B173, Downtown Division, and Building 110, Room GA135, Uptown Division, at the beginning of each visit. After completion of the service, the Engineering Department Representative shall verify work completed and sign the service ticket. 2. Provide Service to: a. Pump out grease trap #1 (500/GL) located at the Downtown Division, Building 801. b. Pump out grease trap #2 (500/GL) located at the Downtown Division, Building 801. c. Pump out grease trap #1 (500/GL) located at the Uptown Division, Building 111. d. Pump out grease trap #2 (500/GL) located at the Uptown Division, Building 82. e. Pump out grease trap #3 (500/GL) located at the Uptown Division, Building 110. f. Pump out grease trap #4 (30/GL) located at the Uptown Division, Building 110. g.Pump one (1) 55 gallon barrel of fry oil, located at the Uptown Division, Building 110/Canteen Kitchen. h. Pump two (2) 55 gallon barrel of fry oil, located at the Uptown Division, Building 82/Main Dietetic Kitchen. i. Pump out sewer catch basin, located at the Uptown Division, on Whitney St. side of Building 110. j. Pump six (6) 35 gallon barrel of fry oil, located at the Downtown Division, Building 801/Room 1B169. Work is to be done the first week of each month. Work is to be done between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays NAICS: 562998 POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large) and DUNS Number. 2) Submit to: Department of Veterans Affairs, 501 Greene St, Suite 2, Hatcher Building, ATTN: Susan Coleman, Augusta, GA 30901. Responses should be received no later than 2:00 PM EDT, June 14, 2013. Submissions must be made via email to: Susan.Coleman@va.gov or FAX: (478) 274-5702. AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. (DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION). A FUTURE NOTICE WILL BE POSTED WHEN THE SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED. 4) Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. (5) No Proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s.)
