Description
This Sources Sought is considered market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. No Solicitation is being issued at this time. The purpose of this announcement is to identify contractors capable of providing Washer/Disinfectors for the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Cleveland. There is a need to purchase four (4) new Washer/Disinfectors for the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106. The Washer/Disinfectors must consist of the following major features: -Capacity per cycle of greater than six large tray inserts or chamber size of greater than 24"w x 26"h x 31"d, Industry measures of no less than 15 DIN required -Standard cycle time of less than 35 minutes that effectively kills all microbes except bacterial spores including TB, HBV and includes dry time so instruments do not enter the clean side of SPS while wet. -Capable of disinfecting to an Ao of 3000 on a normal cycle -Ability to be connected to an automated rack conveyor system -Cannulated device washer adapter ability -Water cool down system to meet 140F discharge requirements -Have a pass-thru window included -Capability of Censitrac compatibility -Washer/Disinfectors and Pass Through Window need to be narrow enough to fit in 205" of space when placed in a row to meet facility space requirements. All interested vendors are invited to provide information to contribute to this sources sought including, commercial market information. Questions will not be entertained at this time. Respond only to the requested information and questions 1 - 8 below. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), HUBZone, 8 (a), Small, Small Disadvantage, Woman Owned Small business, or Large business relative to NAICS 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FBO website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement.
