Description

The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) analysis data for tail biopsies in conjunction with the "Quantitative Trait Genes for Circadian Phenotypes" grant study being conducted at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus located at 1345 W. 16th Street RM# 151, Indianapolis, IN 46204 for the period of one (1) base year with two (2) option years to be exercised at the Government's discretion. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about June 17, 2013 with a tentative closing date of June 20, 2013. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the quote submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. NAICS Code is 112990, and Size Standard is $750,000. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit quotes which shall be considered by the Agency. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) data base at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit that SAM website and register as soon as possible to avoid delays should they be selected for a contract award. Questions concerning this announcement should be directed to the Contracting Officer using the e-mail link provided. Responses must be submitted in writing to the Network 11 Contracting Office, Attention: Lisa Frymier, Contracting Officer, 8888 Keystone Crossing Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46240, or email at Lisa.Frymier@va.gov. Responses must be received no later than 4:00pm, Thursday, June 20, 2013. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
