Description

This pre-solicitation is being re-issued for administrative purposes only: Add the RFQ Number VA262-13-Q-0956 This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a pre-solicitation only. After review of the responses to this pre-solicitation, a solicitation announcement may be published in the Fedbizopps website. Responses to this pre-solicitation are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this Pre-Solicitation announcement. The Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources for a potential contractor to provide Full Service Sharps Management Program to Include the Packaging, Pick-Up and Disposal of Sharps Utilizing Re-Usable Sharps Containers. The contractor will be required to provide the services for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System and VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. If you are interested, and are capable of providing the required services please provide the requested information as indicated below. The intended contract period will be for a base year and four, one year option periods, which is to begin on or about October 1, 2013. Response to this notice should include company name, address, and point of contact and size of business. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed or faxed to the attention of Alfreda Hunter, E-mail address: Alfreda.hunteer@va.gov. Fax number is (562) 346-1692. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 4:00 p.m. May 15, 2013. A solicitation will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this Pre-Solicitation is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
