Description
The 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB, MO has a requirement for a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Requirements contract for Protective/Decorative coating projects. This acquisition a competitive 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. This acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors, with a small business size standard of $14M. Projects may include, but are not limited to preparation and painting of facilities (interior and exterior), streets, pavement, miscellaneous structures and equipment (i.e. fire hydrants, sign posts, smoke stacks, etc.), and airfield markings. Other work may include the preparation and painting of metal roofs, roof mounted equipment, and any other exterior equipment in support of a facility (i.e. dormitory roofs, man hole covers, pod mounted transformers, posts, fire hydrants, sign frames, utility system valves, air conditioning units, cooling towers, stacks or antenna poles, etc.). The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, vehicles, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform these tasks. The period of performance for this Requirements IDIQ contract will be a 12-month base period with two 12-month option periods. All work under the resulting contract will be awarded through the issuance of individual Delivery Orders. The contract magnitude is between $1M and $5M. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) web page at http://fbo.gov/. Paper copies will not be made available. Note: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The SAM site is http://www.sam.gov. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on or around 15 July 2013 with a closing date at least 30 days after issuance. There will be no pre-announcement of when this solicitation will be available. It is your responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities web page for changes to this announcement.
