- This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB) DE-SOL-0005655. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237310 with a size standard of $33.5 million. This project consists of furnishing all necessary labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary in construction of the Gila-Gila Valley Transmission Line Rebuild. The principal components of work include removal of 2 miles of 3 phase 34.5-KV transmission line and poles and replacing with Government Furnished materials where provided in the specifications. This project is identified as Gila-Gila Valley 34.5-KV Transmission Line Rebuild. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. The project magnitude is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Place of performance is in the vicinity of Yuma, Arizona. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about June 28, 2013.
