Description
The National Park Service intends to award single or multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Vegetation Classification and Mapping of the Mojave Network and the Chihuahuan Desert Inventory and Monitoring Network. All inquries shall be directed to April Blodgett, april_blodgett@contractor.nps.gov, 303-969-2556 The Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror or offerors whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The contract will be for a period of one year with four (4) twelve month options. The Mojave Network contains the Mojave National Park and Preserve (MOJA) and the Death Valley National Park (DEVA). The Chihuahuan Desert Inventory and Monitoring Network contains the Big Bend National Park and co-managed Rio Grande National Scenic River and Amistad National Recreation Area Land located in Texas. The statement of work consists of Steps 7 through 12 following the 12 Step Guidance found at http://science.nature.nps.gov/im/inventory/veg/guidance.cfm) The solicitation will be totally set aside to small businesses. Award(s) will be made to the offeror(s) whose proposal is considered to be the "best value" to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offerors who submit their technical proposal without demonstrating Alliance level of detail will be removed from further consideration. While non-price factors are significantly more important than price, price will be a factor in the award decision. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541370 and the small business size standard is $14 million. Contractor must be registered in www.sams.gov in order to be elligible for award. You can register by going to www.sams.gov. The estimated release date of the solicitation (P13PS00713) is on or about 6/21/2013 with proposals due on or about 7/12/2013. The solicitation will be available electronically for download through www.fedconnect.gov or www.fbo.gov. Hardcopies will not be provided.
